RMH ED Ultrasound Course
The course is targeted at ED Doctors comprising three Days of practical Point of Care (POC) Ultrasound.
There are several modules which are covered in three days. Each module comprises theory, which is studied on line, bedside ultrasound skills which are taught using live normal models, and patients with pathology. Emphasis is on hands-on-learning. There is some lecture component during the course that revises the online learning.
Each day comprises distinct learning modules and may be attended in isolation.
The course is written and delivered by FACEMs, all holders of the DDU (diploma of diagnostic ultrasound), and members of ASUM (Australasian Society of Ultrasound Medicine).
